Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant difference in the lives of young people with challenging behaviours. As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment, supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met. You will be instrumental in guiding our team and fostering positive outcomes for the children we support. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of running the children's home, including staff supervision and rota management • Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support • Oversee the implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to each child's needs • Manage challenging behaviours effectively and proactively, promoting positive approaches • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for children and staff • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies • Foster strong relationships with children, their families, and external professionals • Participate in on-call duties and various shift patterns including days, nights, long days, twilights, waking nights, and sleep-ins What We Offer • A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £42,000 per year, dependent on experience • A 40-hour working week, flexible across various shift patterns • The opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative Children's Services environment • Continuous professional development and career progression opportunities • The chance to genuinely impact the lives of young people and their families
