As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives within a supported setting. You will be instrumental in guiding a team of care professionals, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of support workers, fostering a positive and professional working environment. • Oversee the day-to-day care and support of service users, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met. • Develop and implement care plans, working collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other professionals. • Administer medication safely and accurately, adhering to all policies and procedures. • Manage and allocate shifts effectively, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to data protection guidelines. • Act as a positive role model, promoting best practice and continuous improvement within the team. • Participate in on-call rotations and provide direct care when needed, including a variety of shifts such as days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights. • Drive service users to appointments and community activities, enhancing their engagement and social inclusion.
