Team Leader - Level 3 And Driver About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to young people. As a Team Leader, you will be instrumental in guiding and supervising a team of care professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive environment. You will be a key figure in the day-to-day operations, contributing to the positive development and well-being of the children in our care. This role offers the flexibility of permanent, temporary, fixed-term, or bank contracts, with a variety of shifts including day, night, long day, twilight, waking night, and sleep-ins over a 40-hour week. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of care staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment. • Oversee the daily care of young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity and respect. • Implement and monitor individual care plans, adapting approaches as necessary to promote the best outcomes for each child. • Support the development and training of team members, promoting best practice and continued professional growth. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Act as a positive role model for both staff and young people, upholding the values and standards of our organisation. • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children, promoting their independence and participation in activities. • Drive company vehicles for appointments, activities, and other duties as required, always ensuring the safety and comfort of the young people.
