About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our Children's Services team in Slough as a Team Leader. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct support and supervision to a team of Support Workers, ensuring consistent and high-quality care. • Assist children and young people with their daily routines, promoting independence and well-being. • Develop and implement individual care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and families. • Organise and participate in engaging activities, educational support, and community outings to enrich the lives of the children. • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures. • Offer emotional support and guidance, acting as a positive role model. • Ensure the safety and security of all children and staff within the service. • Respond effectively to challenging situations, employing de-escalation techniques and problem-solving skills.
