Key Responsibilities • Support the Registered Manager in the overall management and leadership of the children's residential home. • Oversee the welfare, development, and progress of young people, ensuring their individual needs are met. • Assist with staff supervision, mentoring, and professional development. • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. • Manage shifts effectively, including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times. • Implement and review care plans, focusing on person-centred approaches. • Act as a positive role model and advocate for young people.
