About this role
Beech House is a small, therapeutic children's home supporting two young people with learning disabilities and behaviours that my challenge. We are looking for 3 caring, committed and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our team and help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive. You will support young people with their daily routines, education, activities, emotional well-being and independence, while using therapeutic approaches to build positive relationships and promote positive outcomes. Essential Requirements: -Minimum 1 year's experience working with children and young people in residential care, education, support work, healthcare, or a similar setting -Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or behaviours that challenge is desirable -Full UK driving licence -Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins -Good communication and teamwork skills -Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children -Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references Beech House offers a supportive working environment, ongoing training, professional development opportunities and the chance to make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable children.
