About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in Bicton, Shrewsbury. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct care and support to young people with challenging behaviours, promoting their independence and well-being • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care delivery • Develop and implement individual care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and families • Manage day-to-day operations of the care setting, including rotas and resource allocation • Respond effectively to challenging situations, using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff What We Offer • A competitive hourly rate ranging from £14 to £17 • Reliable fixed-term contract with opportunities for permanent placement • Flexible working patterns including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night shifts, totalling 28 hours per week • The chance to be part of a committed and friendly team • Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development
