Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our passionate team within Children's Services in Birmingham. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of care, supporting the team, and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under our care. You will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations, working closely with the Manager to lead by example and promote best practices. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in the overall management and leadership of the children's service. • Supervise and mentor a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery. • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are person-centred and reflective of each child's needs. • Promote a positive and inclusive culture that encourages children's personal growth, development, and well-being. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. • Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained across various shifts including days, nights, long days, twilights, waking nights, and sleep-ins. • Act as a positive role model for both staff and children, upholding the values and ethos of the service. • Participate in on-call duties as required, providing support and guidance in critical situations.
