About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced registered manager to take overall operational responsibility for a welcoming, four-bedded childrens home In this pivotal position, you will shape a nurturing and stable environment where each individual is empowered to thrive, achieve their potential, and overcome past challenges. Leading a committed team of residential care staff, you will champion child-centred practice and set an exceptional standard of care. With prior experience participating in Ofsted fit person interviews and managing regulatory inspections, you will bring the confidence and knowledge needed to guide the home through regulatory standards with excellence, ensuring a secure and supportive family-style atmosphere. Key Responsibilities • Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the physical, emotional, and holistic well-being of all young people in placement • Maintain strict compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards, keeping the service inspection-ready at all times • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ofsted, local authority commissioners, social workers, and multidisciplinary partners • Provide supportive leadership, regular supervision, and ongoing guidance to develop a motivated and resilient care team • Oversee the implementation of tailored placement plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies • Manage staff rotas, administrative processes, and home resources to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operations
