About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team within our children's services. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people can flourish, build resilience, and achieve their full potential. As a team leader, you will provide strong guidance and support to our care team during each shift, leading by example and upholding the highest standards of trauma-informed and person-centred care. You will work closely with young people to understand their individual needs, support their emotional wellbeing, and help them develop essential life skills for the future. Key Responsibilities • Leading shifts effectively, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home and assigning duties to support staff • Mentoring and supervising care staff, fostering a collaborative, positive, and supportive working environment • Acting as an advocate for the young people in our care, actively listening to their voices and promoting their rights and choices • Maintaining accurate records, care plans, and risk assessments in line with regulatory standards • Liaising with social workers, educators, healthcare professionals, and families to deliver consistent, multi-agency support • Responding appropriately to challenging situations and ensuring safeguarding procedures are strictly followed at all times What We Offer We provide a truly rewarding working environment where no two days are the same.
