Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team in Romford. This is a crucial role where you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to young people living with challenging behaviours, helping them to develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. As Deputy Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Registered Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered. Key Responsibilities • To assist the Registered Manager in the overall running and management of the children's residential home. • To oversee and support care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and leadership to ensure excellent care practices. • To ensure all care plans are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each young person. • To manage shifts, including allocating duties, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth running of daily routines. • To promote a safe, stimulating, and therapeutic environment for young people, encouraging their personal growth and independence. • To ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • To participate in the on-call rota and provide cover as required, including a range of shifts such as days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights.
