About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in London SE27. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional support and guidance to young people, helping them to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. As a Team Leader, you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our service, ensuring high standards of care are consistently met and that our young people feel valued and empowered. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate the daily routines and activities for young people within our care, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere. • Provide leadership and support to a team of care professionals, ensuring effective communication and adherence to best practices. • Develop and implement individual support plans, working collaboratively with young people, their families, and other professionals. • Safely transport young people to appointments, activities, and educational settings, maintaining vigilance and care at all times. • Actively contribute to safeguarding our young people, identifying and reporting any concerns promptly. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to all regulatory requirements. • Work varied shifts, including days, nights, waking nights, sleep-ins, twilights, and long days, to ensure continuous support.
