Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team. This rewarding role is based at our Games Road location in Barnet and offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities The Deputy Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the care provided, developing and implementing individual care plans, and guiding a team of committed care professionals. Your daily responsibilities will include: • Assisting the Registered Manager with all aspects of home management, including staff supervision, rostering, and performance management • Upholding regulatory compliance and ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to • Promoting a positive and supportive culture, ensuring the wellbeing and development of both residents and staff • Engaging with young people, their families, and external professionals to ensure holistic care delivery • Participating in on-call duties and various shift patterns including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night shifts, as required by the needs of the service What We Offer This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about children's social care to advance their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
