Make a difference where it matters most: Peaceable Care Services Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and dependable Care Assistants and Support Workers to join our growing community care team across Hertfordshire. This is a rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people and understands that good care is about more than completing tasks. It is about helping people feel safe, respected, listened to and supported to live as independently as possible in their own homes. We support people with a range of needs, including older adults, people with physical and learning disabilities, dementia, mental health needs and neurological conditions. What you will be doing: Your responsibilities may include: Supporting service users with personal care, dressing and mobility Supporting with medication and observing any changes in health or wellbeing Preparing meals and assisting with shopping and light household tasks Providing companionship and emotional reassurance Supporting service users to access their local community and activities Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Completing accurate care records and reporting any concerns or changes promptly Supporting each person to remain as independent as possible Communicating professionally with service users, families, colleagues and management What we are looking for We are looking for people who are: Compassionate, patient and respectful Reliable and punctual Good communicators Comfortable working independently in the community Willing to learn and develop Able to follow care plans, policies and agreed procedures Committed to providing genuinely person-centred care Eligible to work in the UK Willing to complete the required DBS and recruitment checks Able to provide satisfactory references Previous experience in care is welcome, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important. We are currently recruiting across: Redbourn, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Harpenden, Markyate, Bovingdon, Berkhamsted and surrounding areas. As this is a community-based role, a driving licence and access to transport are required. N.B: Training is preferred, but paid training is available and provided by the company.
