Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team in Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people. As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, contributing to the daily operations of the home and championing a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting best practices and a positive team culture. • Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring they are person-centred and meet the specific needs of each young person. • Participate in various shifts, including days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights, to provide continuous support and oversight. • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in our care, acting as a role model and advocating for their rights. • Support and mentor junior staff, assisting with training and professional development. • Engage with external professionals, families, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
