Support Worker - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our Children's Services team. In this pivotal role, you will be providing essential care and support to children and young people, helping them to develop fundamental life skills and encouraging their emotional and social well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for them to thrive. We offer flexible working arrangements, including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night shifts, across permanent, temporary, fixed-term, and bank contracts, with a commitment of 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct support and care to children and young people, tailored to their individual needs and care plans. • Assist with daily routines, personal care, education, and leisure activities. • Help young people develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of observations and activities. • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic care. • Contribute to a positive and engaging atmosphere, promoting the social and emotional development of residents.
