As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day running of our service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will be a role model for our support staff, promoting best practices and fostering a positive and nurturing environment for both residents and colleagues. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct support and supervision to a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care are consistently met. • Assist with the development and implementation of individual care plans, tailored to the specific needs of each young person. • Support young people with their daily routines, educational activities, and social development. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. • Act as a key worker for specific residents, building trusting relationships and advocating for their needs. • Collaborate with external professionals, including social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure integrated support. • Handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. • Participate in shift work, which may include days, nights, long days, twilights, and sleep-in shifts.
