About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager (Level 3) to join our Children's Services team. This rewarding role involves supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation of our residential children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the young people in our care. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial part in leading and inspiring our care team, promoting best practices, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. You will contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, oversee daily routines, and support the emotional and social development of our residents. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of running the children's home. • Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a positive and effective team environment. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with company policies and relevant legislation. • Participate in creating and implementing individual care plans for young people. • Oversee daily operations, including managing shifts and ensuring appropriate staffing levels. • Manage incidents and safeguarding concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions. • Maintain accurate records and documentation. • Act as a positive role model for both staff and residents. • Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals.
