About the Role We are looking for dedicated and passionate Team Leaders to join our Children's Services team at Oakleigh Gardens. This vital role involves supporting children and young people who exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to develop essential life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are consistently delivered. You will be a role model, providing guidance and supervision to a team of care professionals, fostering a collaborative and empowering atmosphere. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership and direct supervision to care staff, ensuring daily routines and care plans are implemented effectively • Support children and young people with challenging behaviours, employing positive behaviour support strategies • Participate in the planning, delivery, and review of tailored care plans to meet individual needs • Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures • Maintain clear and accurate records, documenting observations, incidents, and progress • Work collaboratively with families, external professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care What We Offer We offer a competitive hourly rate of £14 - £16.5, with flexible contract options including permanent, temporary, bank, and fixed-term.
