This role requires flexibility across a range of shifts, including days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the care we provide. A full driving licence is essential to support the children and young people with their community engagement and activities. Key Responsibilities • Provide person-centred care and support to children and young people, respecting their individual needs and choices. • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication administration as required. • Plan and participate in engaging activities, both within the home and in the community, utilising your driving skills to facilitate outings. • Support the development of life skills, promoting independence and confidence. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic care. • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews. • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times, adhering to all safeguarding policies.
