Team Leader - Driver About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader - Driver to join our Children's Services team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and safe running of daily activities for children and young people under our care. You will primarily be based in Stanmore HA7, providing essential support, guidance, and direct care. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct supervision and leadership to a team of care professionals, ensuring high standards of care delivery. • Coordinate and participate in daily routines, activities, and outings for the children and young people. • Safely transport children to appointments, school, and other activities using company vehicles. • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration as required. • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner. • Champion a person-centred approach, respecting individual needs and promoting independence. • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes. • Be available to work a variety of shifts including waking nights, sleep-ins, twilights, long days, nights, and days to meet the needs of the service. • Uphold all safeguarding policies and procedures, acting as a role model for best practice.
