Deputy Manager - Children's Services About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our passionate team in Stanmore. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing leadership and support to our care staff, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities • To assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation and management of the children's home. • To provide guidance, supervision, and support to the team of care workers, fostering a positive and professional working culture. • To ensure that all care plans are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly, meeting the individual needs of each child. • To uphold the highest standards of care, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies. • To participate in the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of staff. • To act as a role model, demonstrating best practice in all aspects of child care and management. • To manage incidents and challenging situations with professionalism and a child-centred approach. • To liaise effectively with families, external agencies, and professionals, advocating for the best interests of the children.
