We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in the East Midlands. This is a crucial role where you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation of our residential setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for the children and young people we support. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment. You will lead and inspire a team of care professionals, contributing to the development and implementation of individualised care plans that promote growth, independence, and well-being. This position offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, helping them to thrive and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Assisting the Registered Manager in the overall management and leadership of the children's residential home. • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including Ofsted standards. • Providing supervision, guidance, and support to the care team, fostering a positive and professional working culture. • Overseeing the development, implementation, and review of tailored care plans for each child and young person. • Managing rotas and staffing to ensure appropriate coverage and skill mix across all shifts. • Acting as a role model, demonstrating best practice in direct care work and engaging with children and young people. • Handling and responding to emergencies, incidents, and safeguarding concerns effectively. • Participating in on-call duties as required and deputising for the Registered Manager in their absence.
