Deputy Manager About the Role We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Managers to join our Children's Services team in Salford M7. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting young people within a nurturing and structured environment. As a Deputy Manager, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of our residential care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for the children and young people we support. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, contributing to the development and implementation of individual care plans, fostering a homely atmosphere, and supervising the care team. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in young lives, helping them to grow, learn, and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of care staff, promoting best practice and continuous professional development. • Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care packages for young people, ensuring their individual needs are met. • Promote a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where young people feel valued, respected, and heard. • Manage delegated budgets and resources effectively. • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. • Participate in on-call duties and various shifts, including days, nights, long days, twilight, sleep-ins, and waking nights, to ensure continuous support.
