About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team in Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people who exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, assisting in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in young lives, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, including staff supervision, rota planning, and administrative duties. • Overseeing the delivery of personalised care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of each young person. • Providing direct support and guidance to children and young people, fostering positive relationships and promoting their development. • Managing challenging behaviours effectively and proactively, utilising appropriate strategies and interventions. • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safeguarding regulations, company policies, and CQC standards. • Leading by example, embodying our values of respect, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions. • Participating in on-call duties and working a variety of shifts including days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights, as required.
