Senior Support Worker – Therapeutic Children’s Home Location: Bradford (BD6) Salary: £15.00–£15.65 per hour (£37,800–£39,152 a year including sleep-ins) Contract: Permanent, 40 hours, 2 on / 4 off, 10 sleep-ins a month at £55 About the role: You'll lead by example and help the children feel safe. Oasis House is a new therapeutic children’s home in Bradford for one child aged 5–17, awaiting Ofsted registration. You’ll stay hands-on with the child while leading shifts and supporting the team. You’ll: • Lead shifts calmly and confidently • Build a warm, consistent relationship with the child • Model de-escalation and coach newer staff • Spot safeguarding concerns early and escalate them You’ll need: • Residential childcare experience, including some shift leading • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (achieved or nearly complete) • Good knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care and PACE • [Full UK driving licence] We offer: a path from Senior to Deputy to Registered Manager with funded Level 5, specialist training, [pension, holiday] You can email us at enquiries@oasis-house.net or message us through the platform, or call 07546054868 for an informal chat.
