Key Responsibilities • Providing direct person-centred support to young people with challenging behaviours, ensuring their safety and well-being. • Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and domestic tasks as required, promoting independence where appropriate. • Engaging young people in educational, recreational, and social activities, both within the home and in the community. • Using your driving skills to transport young people to appointments, activities, and outings. • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and achieve positive outcomes for the children. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring clear communication within the team. • Responding calmly and effectively to challenging situations, employing de-escalation techniques as needed.
