Team Leader - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in Leeds. This is a permanent opportunity for an individual passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our young residents, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Your work will be varied and rewarding, covering a range of shifts including days, nights, long days, sleep-ins, twilights, and waking nights, ensuring continuous support for those in our care. You will contribute to the daily operations of the home, leading by example and empowering your team to deliver outstanding care. Key Responsibilities • Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. • Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans, tailored to the unique needs of each child or young person. • Support and engage children and young people in a variety of activities, promoting their personal growth and well-being. • Maintain clear and accurate records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. • Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. • Contribute to the ongoing development of the service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. • Ensure the safety and security of all children and young people within the home at all times.
