Key Responsibilities • Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans. • Assist with daily routines, personal care, and promoting independence. • Engage children and young people in educational, social, and recreational activities. • Foster a safe, stable, and positive environment for the young people in our care. • Document observations and maintain accurate records of support provided. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic care. • Act as a positive role model, championing their rights and advocating for their needs. • Support children and young people in managing challenging situations and developing coping strategies.
