Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere for both staff and residents. • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are person-centred and responsive to the needs of each child or young person. • Support the team in managing challenging behaviours and promoting therapeutic interventions. • Participate in staff supervision, appraisals, and training, encouraging continuous professional development. • Ensure effective communication channels are maintained with residents, their families, external professionals, and internal stakeholders. • Oversee administrative tasks as required, supporting the smooth operation of the service. • Act as a positive role model, upholding our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
