About this role
About the Role Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for dedicated Entry-Level Support Workers to join our Children's Services team, working with young individuals who present challenging behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career in care, providing essential support and guidance within a residential setting. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, helping young people to develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. We embrace various contract types – permanent, temporary, fixed-term, and bank – to suit different lifestyles, with a standard full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. We also offer a flexible shift pattern including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night shifts to ensure comprehensive support for our residents. Key Responsibilities • Providing direct support to young people with challenging behaviour, always maintaining professional boundaries and a positive attitude. • Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and educational activities as needed. • Engaging young people in constructive and therapeutic activities, both within the service and in the community. • Contributing to the development and implementation of individual care plans, observing and reporting on progress and any concerns. • Participating in household duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. • Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered. What We Offer • A competitive hourly rate ranging from £12 to £14. • A flexible working schedule with various shift options to promote work-life balance. • The chance to embark on a fulfilling career path in children's services. • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. • A supportive team environment where your contributions are valued and recognised.
