The Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home and ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and development of the service, ensuring exceptional standards of care and safeguarding. Key Responsibilities Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards Deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing staff team Manage budgets, staffing levels, and occupancy Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and external professionals Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for Ofsted inspections Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (essential) Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspection frameworks Proven track record of achieving good or outstanding Ofsted ratings (desirable) Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills Ability to manage budgets and drive occupancy Full UK driving licence (preferred) What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Opportunity to lead and shape a high-quality service Ongoing training and professional development Supportive senior leadership team Clear progression opportunities Apply Now If you are an ambitious and experienced leader ready to take full responsibility for a children’s home and drive outstanding outcomes, we want to hear from you.
