About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Children's Services team in Wembley. This is a vital permanent role, working day shifts across a 40-hour week. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial part in providing outstanding care and support to the children we look after, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, assisting in the day-to-day running of the service and leading our team of care professionals. Key Responsibilities • Support the Registered Manager in the overall management and leadership of the children's service. • Oversee the implementation of care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and promote development. • Lead and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining high standards of care. • Manage staff rotas, allocate duties, and conduct regular supervisions and appraisals. • Handle safeguarding concerns and emergencies effectively, always prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. • Act as a positive role model, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and continuous improvement.
