About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our vibrant team within Children's Services in Hertfordshire. As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, fostering a nurturing and safe environment. You will have the opportunity to lead by example, mentor staff, and contribute significantly to improving the lives of the children and young people in our care. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in the overall running and management of the children's home. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets statutory requirements and individual needs. • Supervise, support, and develop a team of care professionals, promoting best practice. • Support the development and implementation of care plans, risk assessments, and young people's progress. • Be a positive role model, promoting a culture of respect, safety, and inclusion. • Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager. • Contribute to a positive and therapeutic living environment for all young people.
