This role requires flexibility, as we offer a range of shifts including day, night, long day, waking night, sleep-in, and twilight hours. We have a variety of contract options available, including bank, fixed-term, temporary, and permanent positions, with full-time hours averaging 40 hours per week. Being a driver is essential for this position, enabling you to support children effectively with their activities and appointments. Key Responsibilities • Provide person-centred support to children in our care, promoting their well-being and development. • Assist with daily routines, personal care, and educational activities as required. • Plan and participate in engaging activities, both within the home and in the community. • Safely transport children to appointments, school, and social outings using company vehicles. • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to support. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes. • Ensure a safe, clean, and positive living environment for the children. • Offer emotional support and act as a positive role model.
