About this role

The Little Flower Respite Home is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. You will support children and young people with complex needs and multiple disabilities, ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities  Provide daily care, including personal care, feeding, and medication administration  Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through activities and engagement  Take part in care planning, admissions, and keyworker responsibilities  Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs  Ensure the home is clean, safe, and well-maintained  Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals  Lead or support shifts and follow all policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards What We’re Looking For  Experience working with young people (residential care preferred)  A caring, patient, and team-focused attitude  Strong communication and record-keeping skills  Willingness to complete QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (if not already held)  Ability to work shifts and support children with complex and high-dependency needs What We Offer  Ongoing training and professional development  Supportive team environment  Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives
