As a driver, you will also play a crucial part in facilitating outings and appointments for our young people, ensuring they can access community resources and enjoy enriching experiences. We are looking for individuals who are patient, understanding, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care within a nurturing and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct support and care to children and young people, assisting with daily routines and personal care where needed. • Implement tailored care plans, ensuring the individual needs of each child are met with dignity and respect. • Engage children in a range of educational, recreational, and social activities, promoting their development and well-being. • Manage and respond effectively to challenging behaviours, using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support strategies. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documenting observations, progress, and any incidents. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. • Drive service users to appointments, activities, and outings, ensuring their safety and comfort.
