About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our vibrant Children's Services team in Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent position working day shifts, offering an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people. As Deputy Manager, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of our service, supporting the manager and leading by example while fostering a nurturing and safe environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. • Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of managing the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies. • Oversee the development, implementation, and review of tailored care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs and aspirations of each child. • Act as a positive role model, inspiring and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential. • Manage staff rotas, supervisions, and appraisals, ensuring adequate staffing levels and professional development. • Engage actively with families, external professionals, and community resources to support the holistic development of the children in our care. • Safeguard children and young people, adhering to all child protection policies and procedures.
