We are seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our Children's Services team in Liverpool. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide essential support and guidance to young people facing challenging behaviours, helping them to develop vital life skills and achieve their full potential. As a driver, you will also facilitate their access to community activities, appointments, and educational settings, playing a key part in their social inclusion and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities • Provide person-centred care and support to young people with challenging behaviours, promoting their independence and personal growth • Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the young people in our care • Assist with daily routines, educational support, and leisure activities • Safely transport young people to external appointments, activities, and school • Document observations and maintain accurate records in line with our care plans • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills What We Offer • A competitive hourly rate of £12 - £14.50 • Flexible working options including permanent, fixed-term, bank, and temporary contracts • A range of shifts available, including night, day, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night shifts • A consistent 40 hours per week • Comprehensive training and continuous professional development • A supportive team environment focused on positive outcomes for young people • The chance to make a significant, positive impact every day
