Key Responsibilities • Supporting the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, including ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding standards are consistently met. • Leading and mentoring a team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and ongoing development opportunities. • Developing and implementing individual care plans, working collaboratively with children, their families, and external professionals. • Overseeing the daily routines and activities, ensuring they are enriching and tailored to the needs and interests of the young people. • Managing administrative duties, such as record-keeping, rotas, and medication management, in line with company policies. • Acting as a positive role model, promoting a culture of respect, resilience, and personal growth for both staff and children. • Handling challenging situations with professionalism and empathy, always prioritising the welfare of the children.
