About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential setting, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children under our care. This includes providing leadership to a team of support workers, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of care staff, promoting best practice and continuous development. • Oversee the day-to-day care and support for young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of individual care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and families. • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, maintaining a secure and supportive environment. • Manage shift rotas and delegate duties effectively to ensure appropriate staffing levels. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Support and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth. • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating the values and ethos of our organisation. • Handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring positive outcomes.
