Team Leader - Driver About the Role We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in Bexley, DA5. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered. Your ability to drive will be essential for various activities, appointments, and outings, enriching the experiences of the children we support. We offer flexibility with permanent, bank, fixed-term, and temporary contracts available, alongside a variety of shift patterns including waking nights, sleep-ins, twilights, long days, nights, and days to suit your availability. Key Responsibilities • Lead and motivate a team of support workers, fostering a positive and collaborative working atmosphere. • Provide direct care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. • Plan and facilitate engaging activities, promoting personal development and well-being. • Safely transport children to appointments, school, and recreational outings as required, utilising your driving skills. • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation, adhering to all regulatory standards. • Work in partnership with families, colleagues, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes for the children. • Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
