Team Leader - Level 3 And Driver About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Team Leaders to join our Children's Services team in Cannock. This is a vital role where you will support and guide our young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial part in creating a nurturing environment, helping to empower young individuals to achieve their potential. Your leadership will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of our services, collaborating closely with your team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. We offer a variety of contract types, including permanent, temporary, fixed-term, and bank, with flexible shift patterns available across days, nights, long days, twilights, sleep-ins, and waking nights to suit different lifestyles. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct support and supervision to young people in a residential setting. • Lead and motivate a team of support workers, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. • Assist with the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each young person. • Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation promptly and efficiently. • Act as a positive role model, promoting independence, life skills, and social inclusion. • Safely transport young people to appointments, activities, and educational settings. • Handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy, safeguarding the welfare of all residents. • Liaise effectively with parents, guardians, and external professionals, ensuring open communication. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services, participating in reviews and training.
