About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children's care service in Bexley. As our Registered Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the children's home, fostering a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment for both residents and staff. You will be instrumental in shaping the service, embedding a child-centred approach, and championing best practices in children's welfare. Key Responsibilities • Provide strong, inspirational leadership and effective management to the care team, promoting a positive and professional working culture. • Ensure the service fully complies with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and organisational standards, including Ofsted requirements. • Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they meet the unique needs and aspirations of each young person. • Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management. • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people residing in the home, acting as the designated safeguarding lead. • Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation, preparing reports as required for internal and external stakeholders. • Foster strong relationships with families, external professionals, and relevant agencies. • Manage the home's budget effectively, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently.
