A driving licence is essential, as you will be responsible for transporting children to appointments, activities, and school, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct, hands-on care and support to children and young people, tailored to their individual needs and care plans. • Lead and supervise a team of support workers, offering guidance, mentorship, and effective delegation of duties. • Ensure the smooth running of daily routines, including educational activities, leisure pursuits, and personal care. • Safely transport children to various locations, upholding all road safety regulations and company policies. • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes. • Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged to grow. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to all regulatory and internal guidelines. • Act as a positive role model, promoting independence and life skills development.
