As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily care and development of our residents, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your leadership will be key in coordinating activities, managing shifts, and providing direct support, including driving residents to appointments and outings. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct care and support to children and young people, promoting their independence and well-being. • Lead shifts, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and effective communication within the team. • Safely transport residents to various appointments, educational settings, and recreational activities. • Assist with care planning and contribute to the development of individual support plans. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Offer guidance and mentorship to support workers, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. • Respond effectively to challenging situations, employing de-escalation techniques and problem-solving skills. • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all residents at all times.
