Team Leader - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Team Leaders to join our Children's Services team in Romford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young people, providing leadership and direct support within a nurturing environment. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our residential setting, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained. You will guide and mentor a team of support workers, fostering a positive and therapeutic atmosphere for children and young people. We have a variety of contract options available, including permanent, temporary, fixed-term, and bank, with flexible shifts covering days, nights, long days, twilight, sleep-ins, and waking nights. The standard working week is 40 hours. Key Responsibilities • Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of support workers, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to care plans. • Offer direct support and care to children and young people, promoting their independence, emotional well-being, and personal development. • Develop and implement individual care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and families. • Ensure the safety and security of all residents, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures. • Manage daily routines and activities, creating engaging and supportive experiences for the young people. • Maintain accurate records and documentation, contributing to assessments and reviews. • Act as a positive role model and advocate for the young people in our care.
