About this role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Community Care Assistants to join our growing team in Barnsley. You will support clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care. We offer flexible working patterns to suit your availability, including: Morning shifts (e.g. 6:45am–11am) Half days (e.g. 9am–3pm, 7am-1pm) Full days (e.g. 8am–5pm, 7am-8pm) Other flexible options available Rotas are planned two weeks in advance, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and daily living support Assist with medication (where trained) Support with meal preparation and companionship Maintain accurate care records Deliver high-quality, person-centred care Requirements: Minimum 6 months care experience Good communication skills in English (spoken and written) A caring, respectful, and professional approach Ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Relevant care training/certificates (or willingness to complete)
