Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to the care team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to children, promoting their well-being, development, and independence. • Assist with the planning, implementation, and review of care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each child. • Manage staff rotas and allocate duties, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained across all shifts. • Act as a role model, demonstrating best practice in care delivery and professional conduct. • Support and mentor junior staff, assisting with their ongoing professional development. • Liaise effectively with parents, guardians, social workers, and other external professionals. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. • Respond to incidents and emergencies effectively, following established protocols.
