Deputy Manager - Level 3 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our adult services team in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to step into a pivotal leadership role. As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered, supporting our Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, and fostering a positive and empowering environment for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Registered Manager in the overall management and leadership of the care service • Oversee the planning and delivery of person-centred care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of our residents • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to the care team, promoting best practice and continuous improvement • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for the service operations • Participate in staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing training • Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and external professionals • Contribute to a positive and engaging atmosphere within the service What We Offer • A competitive annual salary ranging from £30,000 to £42,000 • A permanent contract with 40 hours per week • A variety of shift patterns including day, night, long day, twilight, sleep-in, and waking night, offering flexibility • Opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive team environment • The chance to work in a rewarding role, making a significant impact on others' lives
